Norwegian Pink Marble
SOLD
Norwegian Pink is a lovely marble that is difficult both to carve and to polish because it actually is a mixture of three different marbles. The pink in the marble is very hard, the white is very soft, the gray is in between. Additionally it has a distinct grain along which it likes to split, all of which makes it more suitable for carving with a grinder than with hammer and chisel.
All
of my stone carvings have sold
sometimes with a deposit before they were even completed
or the first or second time I showed them after completion.
If you would like to know when I might have a piece similar to this one available,
I keep a list of interested persons, with no obligation to purchase.
