This marble is carved on all sides, including underneath. The under side is shown on the following page.
Danby Imperial is a fine grained sculpture marble highly suitable for carving that can take details and polishes to a high shine. This piece has inset into it a lapis lazuli egg, amethyst and rose quartz balls, and jade cabochons.
